Registration Deadline is September 10th
This registration is for families of children not enrolled in St. Odilia School who are in grades 7 and up, who wish to register for Sacramental preparation for Confirmation. Confirmation at St. Odilia is a two-year program, with the Confirmation Celebration taking place in the spring of the second year of the program.
Classes: Classes for Confirmation occur 2 times a month on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm, from early September to early May. Our kickoff is Sep 17th.

Adult Formation Nights:
To improve the relational support for each child, Father James and Faith Formation have added the following requirement to this year's Confirmation:
One adult from each family will attend at least four adult formation sessions. This requirement is waived if the adult is volunteering as a catechist (teacher) or assistant catechist (chaperone) in a classroom. This adult could be a parent, guardian, Godparent/sponsor, grandparent, or another adult in the child's life. Adults will deepen their own faith and be better equipped to share the relevance of our Catholic tradition with their kids.
Below are the additional events and requirements for those in their second year with us (aka those getting confirmed this year). If this is your first year, you only need to attend classes.

Orientation:
We will have a confirmation orientation on September 21st for those in their second year with us. It will be from 7-8 in the church. Parents and Children are required to attend.
(For those being Confirmed THIS YEAR) Sponsor and Candidate Sessions: There are five large group sessions in which both the sponsor and child are required to attend. This is a change from last year to encourage sponsors to play a more active role in their candidates faith life. If your sponsor is unable to attend any sessions, a parent or another role model is able to substitute. These will be Nov 9th, Jan 11th, Feb 22nd, and April 12th.
(For those being Confirmed THIS YEAR) Retreat: We will have options for one of two retreats to attend this year. The first will be an overnight retreat at Dunrovin Retreat Center from August 2nd-3rd. (Registration open now) The second will be a non-overnight at St. Odilia from January 23rd-24th. Attendance
Tuition: Tuition for those students enrolled in the Wednesday evening program for Confirmation preparation is $150 for the year. This does not include the expense for the retreat.
Confirmation Date: TBD in April, May or June
Parents will need to fill out one registration per child, and there is a family maximum of $300 per family.
